Honda Canada has reported a review of around 17,000 vehicles because of a product misfire that could make motors slow down on certain models.

The review influences the 2023-2025 Honda Pilot, 2022-2025 Acura MDX Type S, and 2021-2025 Acura TLX Type S models; a Wednesday discharge from the producer peruses.

Honda says the product issue influences the motor's fuel infusion framework. Because of what the maker calls "ill-advised programming," unexpected changes in choke might make the motor "lose drive power, delay, as well as slow down."

Honda noticed that the issue might build the gamble of a crash or injury, and that a product update to the framework on impacted vehicles is required.

Proprietors might plan an arrangement with approved vendors to have the framework refreshed for nothing; the delivery peruses. Enrolled proprietors of impacted vehicles will be reached via mail and are urged to look for the maintenance when they are advised.

A different review notice was distributed Wednesday with respect to U.S. models of the Honda and Acura vehicles, with 295,000 impacted, as per the delivery.

Honda Canada and American Honda say they have gotten no affirmed reports of crash or injury connected with the issue.
